Hey all, I got a Daily Deviation for which I am most pleased (ironically for my Food Illustrations, which I "had" to do for a job, and not for the stuff I put my heart and soul into...but eh, I'll take it and be grateful!)
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the kind folks who stopped by and commented and faved!
Thank you, I'm happy you stopped by and had a look at my gallery!
I only do illustration occasionally; I've been a graphic designer for many years. I prefer to do art for myself and not at the direction of others. However, once in a while a job calls for illustration so I'm ready to oblige when needed.
I did study illustration at a private art school, many years ago...but there was a lot more available work for graphic designers so that's the direction I went in.
Oh, very cool...that's exciting! Sam and Nate were so perfect for the show, and we enjoyed chatting with them afterwards — I'm pleased to hear that you're planning something new with them! I shall definitely stay tuned.
Hey Chrissie, Thanks and it WONDERFUL to see you here!!! As royce is in east Lansing right that minute meeting with those great two musicians (Sam and Nate) about our next project...and I'm Here.. in Zwolle.. that place , "Anachnu" it is the only way for now to show it al... Keep tune for more news! Tali
The pictures of the dancers are so exact to the pose. I know I used to dance for twenty five years and telling you, you got it. Remember I am your neighbor, Harper Woods, great work, Lavida
I agree! The pieces that were created are all so unique; I really love seeing them in a gallery together...I think it was a great idea to give them a home of their own.
Hey Chrissie we thought this body of work really has a life of it's own, and can stand up by itself better than we ever thought it could... We are very happy with it... Thanks for the support.

Well that's neat. Someday I hope to do art for a living as well, although I agree with you that the best reason to make art is for yourself.

Just because you use a big word and then a wrong word, it doesn't make the second word right.
